B & K Woolies

All of my pieces are made with solid wool that comes from our flock of Shetland sheep.

A gift of fiber art is always appreciated and a handmade sculpture, plus very cute. Needle felting, is a labor-intensive process that involves painstakingly shaping and punching wool roving with a sharp needle hundreds (maybe thousands) of times to create dense felt shapes. Each piece takes many hours to complete and thousands of stabs with the felting needle.

Needle felting is an ancient art form dating back as far as 6800 BC. Sculptures vary in size and each are unique. There are no patterns, thread or sewing involved.

A gift of fiber art is always appreciated and a handmade sculpture, plus very cute. Each sculpture is one of a kind and makes a unique gift for someone special..including yourself! They are a precious keepsake collectible. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
